What did you like about the book? Polar Bear and Bear Cub explore the Arctic in this book with beautiful pictures showing the changing seasons. And although the seasons change, the love the mother polar bear has for her cub will never change. The message of “I’ll love you forever” comes out loud and clear. The book is written in gentle verse with four lines of text on each page. The rhymes flow smoothly and work very well with the peaceful illustrations of the changing seasons of the Arctic. As each season changes, the mother cub affirms that she will love her cub forever.

Anything you didn’t like about it? I liked everything about the book, especially the gentle rhymes. Very young children will be soothed to sleep with this book.

To whom would you recommend this book?  This is an excellent book for very young toddlers and would work well as a bedtime story.

Who should buy this book? Public libraries, school libraries.

Where would you shelve it ? picture books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles?  yes
