Format: Hardcover interactive picture book

What did you like about the book? Peter, a mouse, becomes a superhero when there is a need and sometimes the need is great.  He saves a mouse tumbling from a ladder, he rescues a kite stuck up in a tree, he saves a mouse about to plunge into a manhole on its bike, and a baby mouse from a rolling stroller.  But a new disaster will be his biggest yet: Mount Fondue is about to erupt and Peter needs help.  When he attempts to confront the eruption on his own, he becomes engulfed in a sea of hot fondue! The tide turns when Inflato-Girl steps in along with Speed Eater and Daring Digger.  The League of Remarkable Rodents saves the day! and the city.  Brightly-illustrated two-page spreads, filled with peek-throughs and lift-the-flaps, enhance this story of daring-do.

Anything you did not like about the book?  No.

To whom would you recommend this book? Children who like superheroes, lift-the-flap and simple mysteries with not-so-scary villains would like this book.

Who should buy this book? Public libraries and child-care centers

Where would you shelve it? Picture books

Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? No.
