What did you like about the book?  Santa is ready, but all eight reindeer are off doing their own things. Dasher is dashing, Dancer is dancing, Prancer is prancing, and so on.  Santa tries jingling the sleigh bells and singing “Ho! HO! HO!’ but the reindeer do not come. Finally, Santa remembers a Christmas Eve tradition and a call of “Story Time!” summons the reindeer to hear Santa read “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Once the story is done the reindeer and Santa are ready to take off in the sleigh.  The digital illustrations in muted evening and winter tones perfectly complement the story. This is a lovely addition to Christmas Eve stories.
