What did you like about the book:  The monarch butterfly comes alive in this magical story for young readers cover to cover, with beautiful illustrations, informative text, and engaging die cut butterflies on each page.   The yearly migration of the monarch across North America to Mexico and back is wonderfully told in simple text and breathtaking flying monarch butterflies.   The backpages contain additional information on the migration and conservation of the oyamel forests and the milkweed wildflower. A colorful map depicts where the monarchs are found and where they will travel to spend the winter.

To whom would you recommend this book? A fabulous read aloud for elementary classes learning about butterflies and for nurturing the wonder of science in our little learners.
