Format: Hardcover picture book

What did you like about the book? This is a very cute book about nature and finding artistic inspiration in the natural world. The illustrations are truly inspired, the depiction of Nature (the artist) is captivating and cute. I love that the author and illustrator include so many forms of art from finger-print bees, to drawing and painting in swirls and splashes, but also collages and sculpting to reach the artist in all little ones.

Anything you didn’t like about it? Nothing at all

To whom would you recommend this book? Children ages 2 – 5, especially those looking for artistic inspiration or encouragement to explore the great outdoors.

Who should buy this book? Public libraries, day-cares, and elementary schools

Where would you shelve it? Picture books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? Near the top
