What did you like about the book? This sweet board book celebrates the many grownups who care for children. Each spread shows a child with a caregiver – daddy, grandma, brother, sitter, aunt, mommy, or grandpa. Simple rhyming quatrains are from the point of view of the child and describe special or everyday activities that they share, from making pancakes to bath time. I love the cheerful tone and joyful illustrations. The kids and caregivers shown have a variety of skin tones, abilities and cultural identifiers. This is a validating title for kids who have grownups other than parents to care for them, and a window into these kids’ families for those who do.
