What did you like about the book? Two of Shakespeare’s most famous works are brought to life in these manga adaptations. The books follow the classic five act originals and the stories come to life in the black and white illustrations. Both books include a modern English translation, which should make the works easier to follow for high school students. Bonus materials include character design sketchbooks, and articles about adapting the classic into the manga format and translating it into modern English. These are perfect for fans of the Bard as well as those who are reading the dramas as an assignment. The manga form breathes new life into these classic tragedies.
