What did you like about the book? A humorous school story with fun illustrations that young readers are sure to enjoy over and over. It is the first day of school and best friends are in the same class, excited for a new year. They put their backpacks in cubbies, try out the art supplies, and meet a new friend. As their new teacher begins to tell them about herself, the Giggles come and take over their classroom. They try to ignore them, cover their eyes, hide from them, cover their ears, and finally, tickle them. That did it; they couldn’t resist the giggles anymore. As the teacher tells them to settle down, a Guffaw comes and then the Chuckles take over. A giant Laugh bowls them all over and they can not stop laughing. As the day ends and the boys get on the bus they all agree it is going to be a fun year!
