What did you like about the book: An adorable board book to celebrate summer for budding gardeners. The simple rhyming text with beautiful illustrations begins the day with little toes in the dirt. A brother and sister in an interracial family share the magic of nature, both above and beneath their feet. The sun sets and flowers close their tired eyes in this garden paradise.
Anything you didn’t like about it? No.
To whom would you recommend this book? A wonderful read aloud for all little ones to celebrate nature, summer, and gardening. This could be a great introduction to learning about where food comes from, the different vegetables and animals that share our planet, or as part of a school garden curriculum. This is sure to be read over and over; I loved it!
