What did you like about the book:   Another delightful “How To Catch…” story with rhyming text and humorous illustrations that is sure to entertain young readers.    This tale is a spin on the beloved classic, “The Gingerbread Man”, and told in the cookie’s own voice.  It begins with ‘Once upon a time at the bookstore’, but while reading about the gingerbread man, he pops right off the page with breakaway speed.   “Run, run as fast as you can!  Can you catch me?  I’m the Gingerbread Man!”  The kids try to catch him with a variety of STEAM traps but he outsmarts them all with the help of other storybook characters, including Peter Pan, Harry Potter, the Wizard of Oz, Sherlock Holmes, Robin Hood, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Rabbit.  Finally, in fairytale form, the gingerbread man jumps back in the storybook to give his tale a happily ever after ending.

Anything you didn’t like about it?  No
