What did you like about the book: The colorful illustrations share the unique interests and hobbies of a diverse group of girls and their love of dinosaurs.  Stella’s best friend is the Stegosaurus since she likes pointy spikes. Tyra’s best friend is the Tyrannosaurus Rex, she likes walking on stilts and dinos that are big and tall.  Trish’s best friend is the Triceratops, she likes their cool horns. Priya’s is the Pterodactyl since they can fly.  Annie’s is the Ankylosaurus due to their strong armor. Paris’s is the Pachycephalosaurus because of their helmet-like head. Theresa’s is the Therizinosaurus with their scissor-like claws. Ariana’s is the Archaeopteryx with their pretty feathers.  Veronica’s is the Velociraptor because they can run fast.  And Brianna’s is the Brachiosaurus with their long, curved necks.   “Dinos are a girl’s best friend!”  

The back pages include all the girls and speech bubbles with interesting facts about their favorite dinosaur.

To whom would you recommend this book?   A great read aloud for dinosaur lovers, especially girls.  This would be a fun and engaging introduction to a dinosaur research project.
