What did you like about the book?   Readers will enjoy this fun story with multiple flaps on each page and a recipe at the very end.  Daddy Mouse needs to go shopping, but Little Mouse wants to play magician.  The solution is that they will go shopping for the ingredients to make magic bread.  Each double page spread has multiple flaps to lift as the reader is asked to find the shopping list, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes, and butter.  The reader can also open the oven door for Daddy Mouse.  The final flap reveals the bread recipe.  The bright colorful illustrations are filled with detail.  This is a sweet story about a father-child relationship that will appeal to readers who enjoy lift-the-flap books.  The recipe is an added plus and readers will want to make their own magic bread.
