What did you like about the book? Lovely illustrations bring to life Lennon and McCartney’s lyrics about love and life. A young girl is gifted with a pink bike and rides it alongside her mother. On the following pages time passes as the two of them bicycle together, the seasons change and the little girl grows up. Eventually we see the young lady at college and then becoming a mother herself. It comes full circle, when mother and child visit the grandmother and the child receives a new bike of her own. The final page shows the three biking together with the final text “I’ll love you more.” This is a lovely story about growing up.
