What did you like about the book? This cute little story takes young readers on many interesting adventures with Barnaby Bear. The story begins with Barnaby Bear’s friends searching for their friend in the nighttime woods. As the story continues, the reader can see that Barnaby Bear is enjoying many wonderful adventures–flying high in a hot-air balloon and a rocket ship, gathering honey, riding on the back of a whale, enjoying a day at the beach, having tea, fishing on the docks, and skipping rocks at the beach. At the end of the day, Barnaby is reunited with all his friends–just in time to snuggle into bed after a very busy day.

The illustrations by Wendy Rouillard are bright and colorful and will be sure to appeal to young children. Barnaby Bear’s friends include a giraffe, pig, bird, dog, and frog and their cute facial expressions will delight young ones as well–even the planets in the solar system are smiling in this book!
