What did you like about the book:   A sweet board book filled with all kinds of ways to be kind- plant a seed, push a swing, calm your friend, free a bug, give a big hug, pick up litter, wave, smile, meet someone new, be a buddy, ask a neighbor to play, use your manners, never tease, share, work hard, write nice things in a card, say sorry, take a stand, make art, walk the dog, help with chores, always listen and be a good friend.   The story is filled with bright illustrations and a wonderful message that kindness starts with you and me.  This is the second book in the series, All Kids Are Good Kids, was the first.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No.

To whom would you recommend this book?  A great read aloud for all little ones during the month of February for ‘Kindness Month’ or anytime to talk about being kind and a good citizen.

Who should buy this book?  Preschools, day cares, home and public libraries

Where would you shelve it ?  Board books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? no
