What did you like about the book: A delightful Ready-To-Read Level 2 Click Clack early reader from award-winning author Doreen Cronin and the Farmer Brown and Duck series. Farmer Brown wants to go camping and he packs up the animals and his brother, Bob. They are going to Breezy Lake to hike together, fish together, and picnic together. Bob helps with the map to lead the way. He tells Farmer Brown to go this way which takes them to the library, of course they need books to go camping! Everyone picks out a book and they pile back in the truck. This time Duck reads the map and with the help of the cows they arrive at Breezy Lake. The chickens head up the mountain to hike, pigs find the perfect spot to picnic in the shade, cows bring their fishing poles to fish, and Duck stays in the truck. Farmer Brown and Bob set up the tent. Farmer Brown is upset that they are not all together and comes up with an idea to fix that- he lights a campfire, gathers long sticks, unpacks the marshmallows. All the animals see the campfire and it causes the chickens to return from their hike, the cows return from fishing, and the duck gets out of the truck. Farmer Brown is happy now- they sit and read together and toast marshmallows together. A very good day at Breezy Lake for all.
