What did you like about the book:  The Natural Disasters series is great for early readers interested in nonfiction text.  Volcano! is one of three in the series- Earthquake! and Flood! are the other two.  ‘The Earth as we know it was partly created by volcanoes.  Many are still active today.  Learn how volcanoes form and what is going on when they erupt.’  A fact-filled text and simple colorful illustrations make this great for those learning to read, and gain knowledge about our earth.  The back pages contain interesting facts about volcanoes.

Marion Dane Bauer is a Newbery Honor recipient for, On My Honor, and the New York Times bestselling author for, My Mother is Mine.
