Format: Board book

Rating: 1-5 (5 is an excellent or a Starred review) 5

What did you like about the book:   A lovely celebration of spending time with grandpa.  The simple rhyming text and bold colorful illustrations will make this a favorite to be read over and over with our littlest readers.   A day with grandpa is the best and includes zooming on bikes to the library for books, wheelbarrow racing through the garden and lawn showers, hiking under trees and buzzing bees, playing cars through busy streets, swinging on swings, filling the cart at the grocery store, puddle stomping in the rain, flying to the moon during the night sky, and reading stories by the fire.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No.

To whom would you recommend this book?  A great read aloud for every grandpa to share with his grandchildren often.

Who should buy this book?  Preschools, day cares, home and public libraries

Where would you shelve it ?  Board books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? no
