What did you like about the book:   A sweet lift-the-flap story of a little chick’s day, in Spanish & English.  It begins with the little chickies breaking out of their egg shells, then when they get hungry their mama hen gets them corn, and lastly they all snuggle up for the night together.  The colorful illustrations and simple text are sure to entertain young readers over and over.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No.

To whom would you recommend this book?  A great read aloud to share with little ones learning to speak English and Spanish.

Who should buy this book?  Preschools, day cares, home and public libraries

Where would you shelve it ?  Board books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? no
