What did you like about the book:  The Wonders of America series is great for early readers interested in  nonfiction text.  The Appalachian Trail is one of nine in the series- The Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, The Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, The Rocky Mountains, Niagara Falls, The Mississippi River, and Yosemite are the other eight.  In The Appalachian Trail, you will discover that ‘the Appalachian Trail is one of the largest hiking trails in the world.  Discover the natural wonder and wilderness that surround this exciting trail!’   A fact-filled text and simple, colorful illustrations make this great for those learning to read, and gain knowledge about America.  The back pages contain interesting facts about the Appalachian Trail.
