What did you like about the book?   Various parents tell of how the world changed for them when their child was born.  The book starts with animal parents, elephants, bears, seals, and owls and the final page features a human couple with their baby.  The rhyming text makes this a nice read aloud for very young children: “When you were born, our hearts sang…our spirits soared, and our troubles flew.  When you were born, we all laughed…we all cried, and our dreams came true.”  The digital illustrations with bold outlines and bright colors will appeal to young readers.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No
