What did you like about the book? A little girl and her fox friend travel about the forest encountering other animals in this exquisite picture book. This tale is told in rhyme and shows the reader that every day is another chance to try again and do wonderful things. The story is inspired by Psalm 30:5 and is so beautifully illustrated it takes your breath away.

Everything that the author says is true—rain before rainbows, day before night, etc. In this pandemic, this may be the perfect book to share with young readers about staying positive and looking to the future with friendship, hope and courage.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No!

To whom would you recommend this book?  This book would be good for anyone, old or young, to inspire them to see the good around them.

Who should buy this book? School and public libraries and day-care centers should have this book on their shelves.

Where would you shelve it ? Picture books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? Yes!
