What did you like about the book? If ever there was a time for this book, it is now. With kids home and parents stretched to figure out how to keep them occupied, this is a neat little creativity activity book for the middle grade crowd which will occupy minds and hands. From imagining personalized products, to home scavenger hunts, to the author’s own “boomerangs” (thought exercises with a value in mind) and “grasshoppering” (jumping from one random idea to another), creative prompts abound. Every one of the 92 pages contains an activity, in black and white, in which to write and imagine, with pencils, pen or marker. The text and art are simple and instructive, with humor and easy directions, so that newbie creatives will find it easy to unleash their own ideas.

Anything you didn’t like about it? This is not appropriate for libraries.

To whom would you recommend this book?  For ages 8-14. It would make a fun gift.

Who should buy this book? This title is not appropriate for libraries as it is a one time activity book which kids write in.

Where would you shelve it ? N/A

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? No
