What did you like about the book?  This is a sweet and reassuring picture book about love.  A large grey spotted horse explores the world with a little brown pony: “What matters most of all to you? What matters most to me? Let’s take a look around us, and maybe we will see.”  In the end, it doesn’t matter if you are big or small, have lots of material things or none, are part of a crowd or alone because “…in the end it’s always love that matters most of all.  The digital illustrations, with accents of silver and gold foil, complement the rhyming text.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No

To whom would you recommend this book? This would make a lovely bedtime story.  A nice addition of Emma Dodd’s stories.

Where would you shelve it? Picture Books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this at the top of our “to read” piles?  No
