What did you like about the book:  “A year is full of colors and changes of life and love.”  A simple rhyming seasons story with beautiful illustrations from front cover to back cover, in particular, the end pages with their colorful changing of the seasons.  The artwork is done with watercolors and colored pencil drawings. Numerous pages are wordless and magnificent in sharing the beauty of life over the passing of the seasons.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No

To whom would you recommend this book?  A wonderful read aloud to share about the changing of the seasons and life.  It also provides a culturally diverse connection opportunity for young readers and discussion on illustrations telling a story.

Who should buy this book?  elementary schools, home and public libraries

Where would you shelve it ?  Picture books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? yes
