What did you like about the book:  Meet poodle and his new friends in this rhyming, early concepts colors story for little ones.   ‘Red bear braids hair, orange cat knits a hat, yellow snake eats cake, blue snail delivers mail, green frog hugs dog, and purple squirrel wears pearls.’  The back page provides information and nice colorful pictures to show what are primary colors and the colors that you mix together to create secondary colors.  A nice introduction to colors that will inform and entertain little friends.

Anything you didn’t like about it?  no

To whom would you recommend this book?  For anyone who loves animal stories.  A nice read aloud with little ones to review colors and practice rhyming words.

Who should buy this book?  Preschools, day cares, home and public libraries

Where would you shelve it ?  Board books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? no
