What did you like about the book? Papa Fox is looking for Baby. He looks indoors and out, up, inside, over, down, under, around but he doesn’t look behind himself where Baby has been hiding all along. Mama Fox is in on the game as she waves at Baby as he follows behind Papa. Along the way Papa Fox discovers an owl, skunk, bear, mouse, toothy fish and a bull before discovering Baby. The illustrations rendered in ballpoint pen and pencil are full of expression with just the tiniest move of an eye. Bushy-tailed and orange, Baby stands out against the background of muted grey and blues allowing children to discover Baby on each spread. This is a fun story for readers who enjoy a game of hide and seek.
