What did you like about the book:  This is a Level 1 Ready-To-Read series based on Doozers, the animated preschool series by The Jim Henson Company.  There are 6 books in the series, get to know the Pod Squad and learn how to solve problems.

In Build a Birdhouse, Molly Bolt finds a bird in her house.  The Pod Squad wants to make a house for the bird.  Molly plans a house with a bathtub, Daisy Wheel wants a window on the roof, Flex wants a slide.  They build the home on the ground by a tree. The bird tries his new home and doesn’t like it and flies back to the Bolt house.  Professor Gimbal explains that they made the bird home for a Doozer not a bird. They go to look at a bird nest to see what the bird needs.  They make a plan for the bird home to be small and cozy like the nest. They build the home and place it high up in the tree. The bird loves it and the Pod Squad cheers, “there is nothing to it when you do, do, do it!”
