Format: Paperback, 340 pages

What did you like about the book? Seven very different students are trapped in a high school when a bomb goes off. Things get interesting when they learn that the bomber is still in the building, and could very likely be one of their classmates. Soon, each student is questioning their safety, and wondering if the bomber could actually be in the same room? I really enjoyed the format of the novel, with the differing perspectives, and the way time progresses during the event. When the events of the bombing unfold, the reader finds themselves second guessing their first instincts, trying to guess who the culprit is and what has driven them to such an act. Having chapters dedicated to a specific character was a great way for the readers to get to know them a little better, and keep mental notes to narrow down the suspects. It was an interesting plot line, and very engaging.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No

To whom would you recommend this book?  For readers who enjoyed Charbonneau’s other titles, This Is Where It Ends, One of Us Is Lying

Who should buy this book? High school libraries, public libraries.

Where would you shelve it? YA Fiction

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? No
