What did you like about the book:  A fun lift-the-flap picnic story for mom to share with her little ones and then have a picnic.  Little Bear goes on a hunt to find food for his picnic under each flap. It begins with their picnic basket filled with yogurt and tortillas.  Then, they head to the yard to find vegetables, at the river they find a fish and a frog, in the woods they find some honey. As they start their picnic, it begins to rain, then the sun comes out and a rainbow appears that looks just like their lunch.  The back pages contain a rainbow wrap recipe to make with your little one!

Anything you didn’t like about it? No.

To whom would you recommend this book?  An adorable story to share with your child and then make your own picnic.

Who should buy this book?  Preschools, day cares, home and public libraries

Where would you shelve it ?  Board books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? no
