What did you like about the book? Faryn Liu’s family have always been members of the Jade Society, an exclusive group in San Francisco charged with protecting the world from demons.  But when her father disappears, 12 year old Faryn and her brother Alex are shunned and forbidden to train as warriors. Luckily, their grandfather Ye Ye trains them anyway as Faryn is soon face to face with a demon at the Chinese New Year celebration.  Could she actually be the Heaven Breaker that the gods need to defeat the demons? Filled with martial arts, dangerous adventure, Chinese mythology and magic, this is an excellent start to a new series.
