What did you like about the book:  This is a sweet creative story where Oliver finds a rock on the playground that he imagines to be a dinosaur egg that will become his friend.  They will grow together and have adventures just the two of them. Then his friends come along and they imagine even greater things all together.  Oliver knows his rock is MORE than just a rock.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No.

To whom would you recommend this book?  If you enjoyed “Oliver and his Alligator” – and to nurture playing pretend and imagination for little ones.

Who should buy this book?  Preschools, day cares, home and public libraries

Where would you shelve it ?  Board books

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? no
