What did you like about the book? This is a great book with the lesson to be just who you are. Whale Shark is so excited for his first day of school. He then notices all this classmates have long, sharp teeth. He has teeny tiny teeth! He spends the rest of his first day trying to find “teeth” to put in his mouth so he can fit in with his classmates. None of these work, and he goes home sad and discouraged. Luckily, he finds out he is exactly how he needs to be. His teeth are important to how he eats his food. Illustrations show friendly sharks of all kinds. Lots of little under the sea details to look for. Combined with sweet text and gentle colors, this is a great book to read during a quiet moment.
