Genre: Fantasy,/ghost
What did you like about the book? The last of the Lumberjanes novels, Ghost Cabin continues the warm friendships and silly humor of the first three installments of this middle grade series. The Roanoke Cabin friends find an abandoned cabin in the woods, and, surprise!, they find all of Mal’s missing socks there. As the friends delve deeper into the mystery of the socks, they meet a group of Roanoke ghost campers, and their adventures continue with ghostly drama. The story has all the sweetness and LGBTQ-positive vibes of the graphic novels, and will appeal to middle grade and young adult audiences. Amanda Leigh Cobb’s narration is wonderful – she successfully brings to life about a dozen female voices with admirable individual characterizations. Her warm voice perfectly communicates the cozy and sweet feel of the story.
