Genre: Friendship/Adventure

What did you like about the book? This is such a cute book! Dog is okay alone, but really wants a friend. Rabbit is okay alone, but also would like a friend. One day Dog sees Rabbit looking in his window! Oh, boy! A friend! Rabbit, however, was looking at a bunny magnet on Dog’s fridge. Dog scares Rabbit, Rabbit runs away. This happens until the door is left open, only for Rabbit to discover the bunny is not real, but Dog is! They become great friends. The illustrations are bright and friendly. Simple lines create Dog and Rabbit, and while they aren’t hyper-detailed, the characters emotions are very clear in the posture and facial expressions of the illustrations. The uncomplicated illustrations and plot are a positive for this particular book; allowing the story of friendship to shine through above all else.
