Format: Board book

Rating: 1-5 (5 is an excellent or a Starred review) 4

What did you like about the book:  The illustrations are colorful and bright as are Lucy Cousins’ other children’s books.  A delightful story of our ‘little fish’ travelling under the sea, meeting colorful and counting sea friends, until he reaches his mom at the end.

The story is entirely in Spanish and since I speak and comprehend un poco solamente, I am not sure of all the Spanish words but the illustrations are vibrant and with the expressive text I was able to tell the story of our ‘little fish’ friend.

Anything you didn’t like about it? No.

To whom would you recommend this book?  Spanish speaking families to share with their little ones.  It could also be used as a great fish, under the sea wordless story to do a picture walk and  retell the story for English speaking children and for those learning Spanish.

Who should buy this book?  Spanish speaking preschools, day cares, home and public libraries

Where would you shelve it ?  Board books- Spanish

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? no
