What did you like about the book? I can’t help thinking that you would have to be a rather hard-hearted individual to not like Sandra Boynton’s critters, the expressions on their faces, their movement so simply but perfectly rendered. In this bedtime book a little bear is all jammied up and ready for bed (with a duck sitting on his head). Papa bear offers to sing a going-to-sleep song: “Go to sleep my zoodle, my fibblety-fitsy foo. Go to sleep, sweet noodle. It’s time to say, ‘Ah-choo’. The chickens in the bathtub… the closet full of sheep… the sneakers in the freezer are all drifting off to sleep.” What’s not to love?
Anything you did not like about the book. Of course not.
To whom would you recommend this book? This is one for parents to read to their little ones over and over again at bedtime.
