What did you like about the book? Here is the paperback edition of this book of silly poems, as you may guess from the title, designed to make kids laugh. Gooey things, popcorn, watermelon, animals, tickles, sneezes, the time-out chair, one’s bellybutton – things that are familiar to small children are presented here with cute illustrations. The rhymes are easy, with lots of alliteration and onomatopoeia. It’s notably lacking in the gross-out themes that older kids favor, so teachers of early elementary school may enjoy reading the book aloud.
Anything you didn’t like about it?
