Genre: Picture Book
What did you like about the book? A little white pup scampers through the color spectrum in this appealing concept book. The pup sleeps in a black and grey room until sunlight streams in and he is called outside. The pup plays through yellow, orange, red, purple, blue, and green pages picking up each color on it’s white fur. A rain storm turns the pages grey and washes all the colors from the pup. But soon the pup rolls in the colorful puddle and is colored with all of the hues which he then shakes off to color the world around him. The rhyming text matches the energy of the little pup and the illustrations are a visual feast for little eyes. A nice addition to concept books about colors.
