What did you like about the book?  Fergus and Zeke, the pet mice in Miss Maxwell’s classroom, are back for a second adventure.  Fergus and Zeke decide to participate in the school science fair, but things don’t go well.  Then they discover that Lucy wants them to be her science experiment by running through a cardboard maze for a reward.  The two mice have fun, but decide that they don’t want to just be the experiment; they want to conduct their own experiment.  So, the two decide to train Lucy by refusing to run unless she cheers for them. In the end the maze experiment is given 1st place. The four short chapters with plentiful and colorful digital illustrations make this a perfect choice for readers transitioning from early readers to chapter books.
