What did you like about the book? In this adorable picture book, a young tiger tries his best to scare the other jungle animals. His older brother tells him that he is too little and clumsy to scare anyone but Little Tiger says, “I’m sleek, silent, and totally terrifying.” Rising to the challenge, Little Tiger tiptoes through the jungle sneaking up on a warthog, an elephant and a group of monkeys. Unfortunately, no one is scared by him. Then Little Tiger comes to a pond and decides to try to scare a frog. Leaning over the water, Little Tiger lets out a ferocious “ROAAARR!!!!” and finally does scare someone – himself! The final wordless page shows a proud Little Tiger grinning from ear to ear. The charming and expressive illustrations, rendered in pencil and watercolor and combined digitally, are the perfect complement to the story. This is a perfect read aloud for story times.
