Rating: 1-5 (5 is an excellent or a Starred review) 4
What did you like about the book? This book is exactly what the title says: a fold-out timeline of all of Shakespeare’s plays, each play with a very brief synopsis. The timeline begins at 1590 and continues to 1613. There is also a timeline on the bottom of the page recording events that happened at the time to give one perspective. And there are stickers to place on each page that include Shakespeare’s Histories, Tragedies, Comedies, Props, and Life & Times.
To whom would you recommend this book? A teacher might use this book in the classroom in middle school but it would probably be most appreciated by kids who really like Shakespeare.
Who should buy this book? Classrooms or individuals
Where would you shelve it? Not for library usage
Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? Only for Shakespeare buffs or teachers who could use it in their curriculum.
