What did you like about the book? This is an adorable story about what Santa Claus was like growing up from babyhood to adult. His first words were “Ho, Ho, Ho!” His favorite color was read. He was fascinated with chimneys. When he received birthday presents, he was overjoyed; he would rewrap them and give them away! Illustrations done in pastels and colored pencils make this an absolute charmer!

Anything you did not like about this book? No!

To whom would you recommend this book? This is the perfect readaloud for young children. A great choice for themed storytimes. Sit down one-on-one with your child or grandchildren and share it.

Who should buy this book? Public libraries and day-care centers

Where would you shelve it? Board Books

Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? YES!
