What did you like about the book? Magical baseball caps allow Jack and Annie to travel back to Brooklyn, New York in 1947. They find that they are batboys in the first game that Jackie Robinson played with the Brooklyn Dodgers against the Boston Braves. Once again history comes alive.

To whom would you recommend this book? Recommend to all the kids following and devoted to Magic Tree House books, along with teachers reading them to classes.

Who should buy this book? Public and elementary school libraries

Where would you shelve it? Juvenile fiction – series

Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? For Magic Tree House fans, definitely!
