What did you like about the book?  Jane adores her big sister Lizzie, but it’s hard to find time to spend together.  Lizzie is busy with her own friends, homework, soccer, ballet, piano lessons and karate.  Jane discovers that Saturday is totally free and makes plans for a special surprise for her sister.  All week long, as she accompanies Lizzie to her activities, Jane is busy drawing the decorations for her special Sister Day party.  The digital illustrations are full of color and Jane’s drawings come to life and surround her.  When Saturday finally arrives, Jane runs to find Lizzie only to discover she is not in her room.  It seems that Lizzie has her own surprise – she made matching glitter tee shirts that read “Sister.”  This is a sweet story of a loving sibling relationship.
