What did you like about the book? The end pages are a great introduction to this book, depicting the performance stage and all the behind the scenes things needed for Andy and Sandy’s stage. The story itself is told with sparse text which will be great for beginning readers. The characters are charming and readers will be able to connect with Sandy’s sudden case of stage fright and Andy’s friendship and support.
Anything you didn’t like about it? No
To whom would you recommend this book? Early readers who need limited text and readers of the Andy and Sandy series.
Who should buy this book? Children’s departments looking to add early readers for the emerging reader.
Where would you shelve it ? Early/beginning reader sections
Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? Yes, for those looking for a short, sweet, early reader.
