What did you like about the book? The simple layout and intriguing questions about different animal sounds make this an engaging book.  There is just enough information for young readers on a wide variety of animals and how they communicate with each other.  The illustrations by Jenkins reflect the animal described in each short paragraph of information.  It is book that can be revisited again and again or explored during storytime.

Anything you didn’t like about it?  No.

To whom would you recommend this book?    Any reader who loves learning new facts about animals.

Who should buy this book? Children’s departments and elementary school libraries.

Where would you shelve it ? Nonfiction, 591

Should we (librarians/readers) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? Yes, it is sure to delight!
