What did you like about the book? Isaac is a very interesting character. His best friend is Hazel, a bear. Isaac helps his parents grow marijuana illegally. But Isaac is a senior in high school who wants to pursue his talent in art. And then he meets Sam and falls in love and Sam’s father is a policeman…. This is a thought-provoking, original story sure to appeal to teen readers. Isaac is believable and sympathetic.

Anything you did not like about this book? No.

To whom would you recommend this book? Recommend to teens who like unique characters, unique story line and romance.

Who should buy this book? Public and high school libraries

Where would you shelve it? YA fiction

Should we (librarians) put this on the top of our “to read” piles? Not quite but provocative.
