What did you like about the book? In Beartown hockey is everything, the most important thing. Beartown has been declining but this year the hockey team is going to win, filled with exceptional players like Kevin, Benji, Amat and Bobo. Each player has a story, as does each player’s family. This story is very well fleshed out. When the star player rapes the daughter of the team’s manager and the incident is viewed by the newest, youngest member of the team you can bet there is going to be big trouble. The intrigues are fascinating. This is a page-turner, filled with an extraordinary number of praiseworthy characters.
