What did you like about the book?  Readers are invited to the dog park for an outing with the irrepressible Percy and his friends Molly, a Standard Poodle, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, a Dachshund, and Fluffy, a Mastiff.  Each dog brings along a favorite item.  ”The Dog of Destiny and his ball are heading to the dog park! Here’s Molly and her kerchief.  Oatmeal Raisin Cookie and her Frisbee. And Fluffy and his bone.”  The illustrations bring each dog’s personality to life.  Readers will laugh as Fluffy does the opposite of the other three dogs.  For instance, “Time to do some sniffing,” is accompanied by the three friends sniffing each other where dogs usually do.  On the opposite page, Fluffy is sniffing a flower with the repeated text “Oh, Fluffy.” When a mischievous squirrel takes Percy’s ball, however, Fluffy saves the day.  This is a fun-filled romp of story for dog-lovers.
